The bandits snuck into the campsite while Quinlan and Dakkan were talking on watch.[4] They told Dakkan and Quinlan that they want everything the envoy has. Dakkan attacked the Felis, but the sister bandit blocked his attack,[5] and the Felis grabs Dakkan from behind.[6] They tell Quinlan that if he gives the bandits their valuables, Dakkan won’t be harmed. Faced with this choice, Quinlan lowered his bow.[7] The Felis tell the sister bandit to wake Kenosh, but she finds that he’s not in his pallet.[8]
Kenosh defeated the bandits, and offered Quinlan the choice of what to do with them. Quinlan chose to let them go.[9]
